Multi-Generational Workforce
Presenter: Emily Schubert Johnson
An interactive seminar on the ways of working to incorporate all generations and the variety of ages and experiences. As we approach the next generation entering the workplace we are faced with a unique situation: for the first time, five separate generations are working alongside one another. How do we navigate this? Is this good or bad? The main question, how do we use this to the advantage of all?
A fast-paced, ever moving, teacher, and student Emily is in a constant state of learning. An accomplished speaker and coach she works to enhance company culture and promote career advancement but identifying key elements that perpetuate roadblocks. Her research focused on career advancement and implementation of leadership and mentorship programs. Emily has combined her research with design thinking methods as a University Innovation Fellow with the Stanford School.
Emily Schubert Johnson has a passion for professional development and helping individuals entering and moving up through the workforce. A large component of her coaching and training is embedded with improving networking skills and bridging gaps between groups of people. We are more alike than we are different, creating connections begins with finding them.
